Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or the device they use. We have built it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Last reviewed: June 2026. [review and update this date on launch]
What we have done
- Clear colour contrast between text and backgrounds.
- A visible "skip to content" link and a logical heading order.
- Visible keyboard focus, so the site can be used without a mouse.
- Real labels and clear error messages on the contact form.
- Text that reflows and stays readable when you zoom or use a small screen.
- Reduced-motion support, so animations are removed if your device asks for it.
- Descriptive text for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
We are always improving. A few areas may not yet be fully accessible:
- Online booking is a link that opens Fresha's own website in a new browser tab, so parts of it may not fully meet this standard once you are there. The map is embedded from a mapping provider and is now the only third-party content embedded in our pages. You can always book or get directions by phone instead.
- We have not yet tested the site with a screen reader such as NVDA or VoiceOver.
[confirm: complete an assistive-technology check before launch and note the result here]
If any of these stop you doing what you need, please contact us and we will help you another way, such as booking by phone.
Tell us if something is not working

How we tested
In June 2026 we checked every page against WCAG 2.2 AA using keyboard navigation, colour-contrast measurement, and the browser accessibility tree to confirm heading order, landmarks, form labels and image alternatives. A check with assistive technology such as a screen reader is still to be completed before launch. [confirm: update this once that check is done, and re-test after the map embed is confirmed]
