Your visit
Your first visit
If you have never had a Thai massage before, here is exactly how a visit to Isle View Spa works, from the moment you arrive.
If you have never had a Thai massage before, you might not be sure what to expect. That is completely normal, and we are here to make it easy. Here is how a visit to Isle View Spa works, from the moment you arrive.
Before you arrive
When you book, let us know what you would like and anything we should be aware of, such as an injury or a health condition. Please note that we are not able to offer treatments during pregnancy, at any stage, as our therapists are trained not to massage anyone who is pregnant. Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing, especially for a traditional Thai massage, which is given fully clothed. Try to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in without rushing.
When you arrive
You will be welcomed into a calm, private space. We will have a short, friendly chat about how you are feeling, what you would like from your treatment, and anything you would prefer us to focus on or avoid. This is a good moment to ask any questions.
During your treatment
Your treatment is given by a trained therapist in a private, comfortable room. For oil treatments you undress to your comfort level and are covered with towels throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered. For traditional Thai and head massage you stay fully clothed. The pressure is always adjusted to suit you, so just say if you would like more or less at any point.
Afterwards
Take your time getting up. We will offer you a moment to come back to the day gently. Drinking water and taking it easy afterwards helps you get the most from your treatment.
Our promise
