A traditional, fully clothed treatment that works gently with your whole body to ease stiffness, free up movement and quiet a busy mind.
A traditional, fully clothed treatment that works gently with your whole body. Slow, assisted stretches and rhythmic pressure follow the body's energy lines to ease stiffness, free up movement and quiet a busy mind. You leave relaxed, but lighter and more awake.
What it involves
You stay fully clothed in loose, comfortable layers and rest on a padded mat. Your therapist combines palm and thumb pressure with gentle, yoga-like stretches, working unhurriedly from the feet upwards. There is no oil. The rhythm is steady and calming, firm where you need it and never rushed.
Who it is for
Especially helpful if you carry tension in your back, shoulders, hips or legs, sit for long hours, or simply want to feel looser and calmer. It is a good place to start if Thai massage is new to you.
What to expect
We will talk through how you are feeling, and anything you would like us to focus on, before we begin. Every treatment is given by a trained therapist in a private, comfortable room. You are welcome to ask questions at any point, and to tell us if you would prefer more or less pressure.

Common questions
Do I need to undress?
No. Traditional Thai massage is given fully clothed. Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothes you can move in.
Will it hurt?
It should feel firm but comfortable. The pressure is always adjusted to suit you, so let your therapist know if you would like it lighter or deeper.
How is it different from an oil massage?
Thai massage uses pressure and stretching rather than oil, and works the whole body, including gentle joint mobilisation, rather than the muscles alone.
How much time should I allow?
Allow a little extra beyond your treatment time for a relaxed welcome and a chat about how you are feeling.
